Commitment to the challenges of climate change has guided our work since 2007.

Responsible design is effective action for a sustainable future.

In spatial planning, responsible design brings many benefits, such as cost savings, a healthier and safer work environment, promoting corporate social responsibility, fostering employee engagement, and advancing environmental responsibility. Together with our clients and partners, we aim to promote the sustainable development of the entire industry.

We design spaces that are durable, flexible, and high-quality. Additionally, we strive to guide decisions towards sustainable development and cost-effectiveness by carefully considering what we renew, what we retain, what we leave undone, and what we can reuse.

Would you like to make sustainable choices for your spaces?

A combined cost estimate and carbon footprint assessment assist in making informed decisions.

A key part of our sustainability strategy is a carbon footprint calculation tool, enabling our clients to assess the environmental impact of their projects.

In addition to calculating the carbon footprint, we can also provide an estimate of the project costs. The combined cost estimate and carbon footprint help make decisions based on data that are both cost-effective and sustainable. In our design process, our goal is always to achieve high-quality, adaptable, and responsible solutions that also consider aesthetics, experience, ergonomics, and budget.

We are committed to providing our customers with the latest tools and expertise so that they can make sustainable and responsible decisions.”

Traditional real estate environmental certifications such as BREEAM and LEED mainly focus on construction and energy consumption, ignoring surface materials and emissions from fixed furniture. This has caused challenges for the interior design and space planning industry, which has not been able to utilize comparable methods for environmental impact assessment.

Together with other players in the field and the Green Building Council Finland, we have made joint assessment guidelines and reporting templates that complement the shortcomings of traditional certification systems and provide professionals with the necessary tools to promote sustainable design.

Our participation in the Chamber of Commerce’s climate program reflects in our own operations. As a company, we critically evaluate our activities and have set goals for sustainability and carbon footprint calculation. This ensures that we are aligned with the principles of sustainable development in our operations.

We are also a member of Green Building Council Finland and have signed the Finnish Architects Declare Climate and Biodiversity Emergency declaration. Additionally, we are involved in Helsinki’s circular economy cluster.
